In this video, I'll show you how to use your smartphone as a microphone for your PC or laptop via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or USB. This is perfect for voice calls, streaming, or recording without needing an external mic!
- Step 1: Download the Necessary Software
- Download the PC Driver & Client Software Click Here
- Download the Mobile App Click Here
- Step 2: Set Up the App on Your Smartphone
- Open the app and tap on the Settings icon.
- Under the Transport Menu, choose your preferred connection method:
- Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth
- USB
- No need to modify other settings, but feel free to experiment!
- Tap the Play icon to start the app.
- Step 3: Connect Your PC to the Smartphone Mic
- Open the WO Mic software on your PC.
- Click Connection > Connect.
- Choose the same transport mode as selected in the mobile app.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect.
- If using Bluetooth, pair your phone with your PC first.
- If everything is set up correctly, both your PC and phone should display " Connected ".
- Step 4: Use Your Smartphone Mic on Any App!
- Once connected, your PC will recognize your phone as a microphone. Now, you can
use it with:
- Audacity - For voice recording
- Google Meet, Zoom, Webex - For online meetings
- Discord - For gaming voice chat
